117th Annual District Assembly

Our 117th Annual District Assembly will take place at the Hilton – Parsippany, NJ, April 18 – 20, 2024. You won’t want to miss this special event as we celebrate Rev. Dr. Samuel & Angela Vassel for their exemplary service to our district over the past 6 years and vote to elect our next District Superintendent for the Metro NY District.

Registration is now closed. If you did not register and would like to attend, please email Susan at the address listed to the right. Friday night banquet is SOLD OUT.

Important Info:

Location: The Hilton Parsippany is located at 1 Hilton Court, Parsippany, NJ. If you have reserved a hotel room, you may check in at the front desk by simply giving your name, but also can use your confirmation number for reference in case you run into any issues. The check-in time is 3 PM and check-out time is 11 AM.

Below you will find the general schedule for our assembly. Please note some details…

• Registration check-in will be outside the ballroom, by the Conference Center entrance (as opposed to the main entrance – both entrances will get you where you need to go, so it is safe to park in whatever lot your GPS brings you.)
• Parking is complimentary with a code. If you are staying overnight, please use the code HILNP. If you are joining us just for the day please use the code HILDP.
• Lunch on Friday will be off-site. Please find below a list of local restaurants. Consider the options ahead to maximize the short time allowed for our break.
• If you are a volunteer, please do not skip registration check-in! We still need to know you’re on site and provide you with your badge and other items if you are a delegate.
• Translation will be available. Please be prepared to use your phone and your personal earbuds. Pastors, please reiterate this information to your delegates and guests.
• We will again utilize Texting for important assembly updates and information (only). If you registered with your cell phone number, you are already signed up. You can double check this at registration and/or use the QR code provided in our pre-session video to sign up.

Friday Night Banquet

We are looking forward to hosting you for the Friday Night Banquet at our 117th District Assembly on April 19th!

Our banquet will honor both Dr. Vassel’s term as DS, but also celebrate the election of our next Superintendent. We will hear from special guests bringing greetings, share a great meal, and worship in music with the Metro NY District Worship Team and Brian Nhira.

Doors open at 6:00 PM with open seating. Tickets will not be sold at the door. If you have children or teens registered, they will have a separate program that includes dinner. Children and teens are welcome to join their parents who purchased tickets in the ballroom following the dinner.

Please note that you will need a code for complimentary parking. For overnight guests, use HILNP. For guests visiting only for the banquet, use HILDP.
