Establishing a robust child protection policy needs to be a priority. Child protection policies keep your church workers and your children safe. Both the General Church of the Nazarene and our Metro NY District are making this a priority in our churches going forward.
The Metro NY District is partnering with Protect My Ministry, through our insurance broker Emery & Webb, to provide services that help you ensure your church environments are safe. This partnership provides a mechanism to complete necessary background checks. Please note: your church should establish a church specific account at no cost (a $149.00 value), and each background check costs approximately $20, which covers the requirements for New York, New Jersey and Connecticut law.
